In a magical forest, colourful characters have adventures and are read bedtime stories. The Pontipines count to three. First the Tombliboos play hiding, then the Pontipines set off for a walk around the garden. On their way, they meet their next door neighbours - the Wottingers. Mr and Mrs Pontipine lose the children. Which flowerpot are they hiding in? The big one, small one or the one in between. Eventually, the children go rolling home in the biggest flowerpot.
